Philadelphia Man Sails Solo to Ireland

Joe Ferry made landfall in Falcarragh, County Donegal, just a few days ago. The Donegal Democrat graciously allowed us to reprint their article. (Thanks, folks.) And thanks to Jim McGill of the Philadelphia Ceili Group for bringing the story to our attention.

Joe set sail from Cape May on May 24 in a sloop named after the town. His dad was born in Falcarragh. Ferry had tried twice before. The third time was the charm.
